Sherlock 3 is a program for showing dynamic content from the Internet. To do this, somewhere a channel is developed and putted on a website. You install this channel on your mac and get information from this website. Often you can do queries to a database or a content managment system and retrieve this informations. The data is stored on the website and therefore you need an Internet connection. Meanwhile it gives a few English-language channels and a not yet so much in German-language.
